On 11 September, I read about a disturbing home invasion that hit New Iberia. Quentin Thompson Jr., a 21-year-old local resident, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, armed robbery using a firearm, and home invasion.
The incident itself happened on September 5 in the 1800 block of St Charles Street, and it clearly shook the neighborhood.
