MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A citizen’s alertness led to the arrest of two individuals involved in a copper theft on the Grand Parkway, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The incident occurred on September 16, 2025, when a caller reported a red Toyota Camry being used to steal copper wire.
Deputies responded to the scene at SH 99 and FM 1485 E, where they found 35-year-old Kerry Crenshaw Jr., of New Caney, Texas, actively loading wire into the vehicle. Crenshaw was detained without incident, while a second suspect, 31-year-old Danielle Brown, also of New Caney, fled on foot but was apprehended after a brief pursuit.
