ICT Fest will bring dozens of local bands together for three days of music

Each year, the organizers of Wichita’s ICT Fest put together a long lineup of local bands, who fill the stages at three local music venues with hours and hours of live music. The festival, which includes many genres of music, returns this weekend.

It’s one of several fun things to do this weekend and into next week in and around the Wichita area. Here’s more information about ICT Fest and some of the weekend’s other best entertainment bets:

ICT Fest

Friday-Saturday, Kirby’s Beer Store, 3227 E. 17th St., and Midwest Drum & Percussion,

Flea Market weekend

9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Century II Exhibition Hall, 225 W. Douglas

The monthly installment of the Wichita Flea Market will happen Saturday and Sunday, but this time, it will be at Century II’s Exhibition Hall. The event will include around 200 vendor booths featuring antiques, crafts, collectibles, toys, treats and more. The market’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $4 for one day or $5 for both days. Kids 12 and under get in for free. Tickets are available at the door or at www.selectaseat.com

Melodrama at Cowtown

7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday, Empire House at Old Cowtown Museum, 1865 Museum Blvd.
