Boulder County authorities are asking residents to be on the lookout for a 6-foot metal chicken.
The latest: The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said the sculpture was stolen on Sept. 4 or 5 from the 11000 block of Quail Road, just south of Longmont.
- “Somewhere out there, a giant rooster is roaming free… or sitting in someone’s backyard looking very out of place,” the sheriff’s office wrote. “We’re not here to ruffle feathers, we just want to help get the big guy home to roost.”
