EUGENE, Ore. — A Eugene resident is being credited by the Eugene Police Department (EPD) for their assistance in apprehending a wanted man who reportedly struck a pedestrian while driving a stolen vehicle.
Back on August 12, 2024, EPD reports that a man in his 30s was hit y a vehicle at 745 E. 32nd Avenue, sustaining life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. The driver of the vehicle, a stolen Toyota Prius, fled the scene on foot. (Reference Case #24-11903)
EPD says back on September 18, around 1:49 p.m. officers were following up on an investigation near E. 30th Ave and Spring Blvd. when they were made aware that a wanted suspect , who possibly armed, was in the bottom of a drainage in a heavily wooded area…
