Swifties Get Ready! “Life of a Showgirl” Album Release Party Hits Big Screen
Get ready to party, Swifties! Taylor Swift’s new album, “Life of a Showgirl,” is getting the royal treatment with an official release party at AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters nationwide, as well as in over 100 countries worldwide. The fun kicks off October 3rd, coinciding with the album’s debut.
This 89-minute theatrical experience, “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” promises a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album, including lyric videos, the world premiere of the “The Fate of Ophelia” music video, and personal reflections from Swift herself. Showtimes begin at 3 p.m. EDT (adjust for your time zone).
Tickets went on sale Friday for $12 plus tax, and fans rushed to snag them, causing virtual queues on AMC’s website. Swift encouraged fans via Instagram to dust off their Eras Tour outfits and get ready to dance (optional, but highly encouraged!).
This marks the second collaboration between Swift and AMC Theaters, following the record-breaking success of “The Eras Tour” concert film. That film became the highest-grossing concert film of all time, surpassing Michael Jackson’s “This Is It.” Swift’s journey has also been documented in the Netflix documentary “Miss Americana,” which had a limited theatrical release in 2020.
The “Life of a Showgirl” release party promises to be another unforgettable event for Swift fans around the world.
