Charlotte VA office offers resources to homeless vets

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A local Veteran’s Affairs office held a special event Friday giving area vets experiencing homelessness a chance to rest and see what resources are available to them.

The event was held at the south Charlotte VA clinic on West Tyvola Road. Nearly 40 vendors from the area signed up to offer any help they can to people who’ve served our country.

“There are a lot of great resources for homeless veterans in the community,” said VA Supervisor Jaderian Ackerman. “Here, everything’s in one place.”…
