‘I’m going to jail’: Man confesses to driving drunk, smashing into Kalamazoo bank

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Court records obtained by News Channel 3 reveal a man accused of crashing into Highpoint Community Bank in downtown Kalamazoo had a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit.

On Sept. 5, Kristopher Neff, 22, was charged with one count of operating while intoxicated and one count of operating with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .17 or more.

Blood results from the Lansing Forensic Laboratory state Neff had a 0.206 BAC at the time of the incident…
