Webster man accused of breaking cop’s finger during violent arrest after traffic stop

WEBSTER — On Sunday, September 14, 2025, at approximately 12:48 a.m. Webster Police Officer Bryan Blomgren was patrolling Main Street when he observed a vehicle as it went through a red light at the intersection of Main Street and Chase Avenue.

According to a statement from the Webster Police Department, when Officer Blomgren activated the emergency lights on his cruiser, the driver pulled into an apartment complex located at 77-91.5 Chase Avenue.

“Upon parking the vehicle, the driver, later identified as Oscar Ucher, abruptly got out and walked over to a basement door that led to a multi-family apartment building at 77 Chase Ave,” the Webster Police Department said in its statement…
