LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) have released their metrics for the week of Friday, September 12 through Thursday, September 18.

During the week, LAS responded to a total number of 982 phone calls, with 822 of those calls being to the front desk, with only 160 to the field services line. LAS reported that there were only 36 aggressive animal calls, as well as 24 animal welfare calls. There were 85 adoptions for the week, being 54 dogs, 30 cats and 1 rabbit.
