The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the victim in a recent homicide as 20-year-old Jahday Humphrey. Police have arrested 33-year-old Jarius Tamaal Jackson and charged him with Humphrey’s murder in connection with the 100 block of Brevard Court incident yesterday afternoon, according to a press release from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Homicide detectives took Jackson into custody, and he is being held by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. Humphrey’s family has been notified.
