COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man is facing a kidnapping charge after he allegedly strangled a woman and threatened her not to leave their apartment after he allegedly kicked a kitten that she had rescued.
Franklin County court documents said that on Tuesday, Columbus police went to the 3900 block of Morse Road on the northeast side. A woman called to report her boyfriend, identified as 27-year-old Isaiah Tackett, for a domestic violence incident.
During an interview with a detective, she said she was strangled by Tackett at their residence at a different address. She also showed police a Ring camera video that captured the alleged incident.
