Improvements coming for trash, homeless encampments at Germantown’s riverfront greenway

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — What should be a peaceful place to walk, ride bikes, and enjoy views of the river is now overshadowed by trash and debris, much of it peeking out from behind trees and down embankments in Germantown.

Local advocate Barry Doupnik has taken it upon himself to help clean up the area, and he’s doing it all at his own expense.
