GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Unemployment rose across North Central Florida in August, according to the latest data released by the Florida Commerce Department.
Statewide, the jobless rate ticked up to 3.8% in August, 0.1% above the month before; however, the rates are higher in North Central Florida counties.
