TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County jury has found a woman not guilty of two counts of obstructing justice in the fatal shooting last year of a pregnant woman and her unborn child.
The decision on Shatwiya Triplett’s felony charges on Thursday comes after two other men were convicted and sentenced earlier this summer for the murder of Tameisha Price, 34, and her daughter, Malaysia, at Price’s home in south Toledo on Jan. 24, 2024.
Paris James, 37, and Jerry Scott, 28, each received consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for aggravated murder at their sentencing on July 28. They also received 18-23 years for other charges involved in the homicide…
