LUBBOCK, Texas — On Thursday, Kevin Pounds announced that he is running for County Commissioner for Precinct 2.
Pounds is a battalion chief for Lubbock Fire Rescue, which he said gave him the experience needed to serve Precinct 2. If elected, Pounds said he will use his position to encourage accountability, transparency and strong leadership.
