ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – People with disabilities and their families are invited to the second annual accessible field day event.
Accessible Adventures: Field Day for All takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. September 20 at Levings Park, 1420 S. Pierpont Avenue in Rockford.
A resource fair will be set up from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and a a ten-person canoe, or “canoemobile,” will be available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There will also be food trucks, a birds of prey show and other adaptive activities…
