A Springfield woman died Wednesday night after she was struck by a vehicle on Highway 39 at Shell Knob in Barry County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 9:20 p.m. on September 17, 2025. A vehicle, which has not been identified, struck a 35-year-old pedestrian from Springfield in the roadway. The driver fled the scene.
