Parents want to save “welcoming, warm” catholic school

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Parents hope the Bishop O’Gorman Catholic School System will reconsider shutting down Christ the King School at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.

“It was just home. That’s the only way that you can describe it,” Kate Luecke said “You walk in, it’s comforting, it’s welcoming, it’s warm.”

All of those reasons are why Luecke chose to send her kids to the catholic school.
