AUBURN — Police are asking the public to review surveillance and trail camera footage as they continue searching for 58-year-old Darren Cyr, who has been missing since shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, September 14.
Cyr was last believed to be in the area of Mill Street, and officials say he most likely left on foot. According to a statement from the Auburn Police Department, Cyr did not have any devices on him that could help track his location and police don’t have a clothing description. Police said there is no danger to the public.
Despite an extensive, multi-day search of the Mill Street area, involving drones, helicopters, dive teams, multiple K9 units, and officers from several agencies, Cyr remains missing. The search, which has now entered its third day, also covered wooded areas, bodies of water, and train tracks.
