PORTLAND, Ore. — A person suspected of threatening a gas station worker with a gun was taken to a hospital Saturday morning after being shot by Portland Police officers.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, East Precinct officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the 8400 block of Southeast Foster Road at around 8:45 a.m. When officers arrived, they determined that a man had threatened a service station employee before fleeing the scene. The suspect was located about 30 minutes later at a gas station at the corner of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Division Street, where police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
