September 21, 2025 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on September 17, 2025, at approximately 11:10 p.m.,
Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Vine Street for a report of a shooting. An adult male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives responded to the scene to assume the investigation. The investigation is active and ongoing.
No arrests have been made at this time. Identity of the victim will be released by the coroner at a later date…
