Coroner IDs student killed on railroad tracks near Cumberland County college

A 22-year-old Messiah University student has been identified by the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office as the pedestrian that was killed on Friday morning near Messiah University’s South Gate.

Brendan Heisey of Elizabethtown was struck by a train while walking on the railroad tracks in the 400 Block of Grantham Road in Upper Allen Township, according to the coroner’s office.
