Alumni, current clients of Lexington recovery program celebrate sobriety

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Eight years ago, Tim Sanders says he was in a dark place and was his own worst enemy. “I didn’t have a purpose, I didn’t know anything in life,” Sanders said.

On June 17, 2017, he decided to get help and start his sobriety journey at the Hope Center. “This place is where I found family. It’s where I found who I was,” Sanders said.

He’s been clean ever since. Now, as a Hope Center alumnus, Sanders said the program changed his life.

“They showed me what purpose was. They showed me how to love myself in general. And in doing that, it gave me the ability to show my family and my kids how to love them the same.”…
