AUSTIN, Texas — Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza is praising the response of law enforcement after a man from Georgia was convicted of making threats against Austin ISD staff for their participation in Austin’s Pride Parade two years ago.
“I hope our community understands is that we take it incredibly seriously, that we do not tolerate it and that if people engage in that kind of conduct, they will be held accountable,” Garza said in a one-on-one interview with KVUE.
