Administrator resigns after selling public schools’ lawnmowers on Facebook Marketplace

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) – A public school administrator in Ohio resigned after he was accused of selling the school district’s lawnmowers on Facebook Marketplace.

Akron Public Schools (APS) said administrator Steven Keenan was suspended at the school board meeting last week before resigning Friday.

According to the agenda from the school board meeting, Keenan traded in 11 APS lawnmowers to a vendor without the board’s approval so he could buy new lawnmowers…
