Sun Day in Asheville shines a light on clean energy push, climate awareness

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Over in Pack Square Park, there was a Sunday, Sept. 21 event – part of a Global Day of Action.

Sun Day celebrates the rise of clean energy and the movement to leave fossil fuels behind – as well as discussing the impacts of climate change.

News 13 spoke with one of the organizers about why this movement impacts many western North Carolinians.
