2025 Buffalo Indie Lit Expo

If you’re a creative in the Buffalo area, then you might want to check out this year’s Buffalo Indie Lit Expo (BILE). BILE, which is put on annually by the Band of Bards, allows authors, artists, and other creators to sell and advertise their original works and meet and network with others in the local community. This exciting event made its debut last year, but it’s already set to be much bigger and quite different this year.

Scheduled for October 18th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, BILE 2025 will be held at the Buffalo Creative Workshop, located at 255 Great Arrow Ave Suite 205. Attendees can expect to see a field of 30+ vendors, including painters, illustrators, writers, poets, musicians – some of which will even be live painting during the show, giving attendees a taste of their creative process.

Some of the creators already set to be in attendance include paranormal romance fantasy author January Rayne, horror author Anthony Izzo, local artist Refried Studio, independent comic studio Mossy Willows Studio, multimedia artist Mister Rigormortis, and many, many more. Also on location will be BoB’s Books, Band of Bards’ own bookshop that you can browse and find your next favorite story.

The Buffalo Indie Lit Expo is a free event again this year, but there will also be exciting VIP packages available for anyone wanting some extra goodies. Some of these upgraded experiences include swag bags with t-shirts, beanies, totes, blankets, stickers, and gift cards, as well as plenty of other fun stuff.

If you’re a creator of any kind, or want to meet other local creatives, this really is the perfect event for you. You’ll meet fellow artists and writers, have the opportunity to buy some unique goods, and get inspiration for your own art…
