LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County firefighters rescued multiple people from a burning home early Saturday morning after a blaze broke out on Overlook Path Way SE.
Crews were dispatched at 3:45 a.m. following a 911 call from a neighbor who reported heavy fire and no one seen outside. When police arrived, they found one victim in the yard who had jumped from a second-story window and heard another screaming for help inside.
Firefighters arrived to find flames pouring from the garage area. Using a ladder, they entered a second-story window, located a trapped victim, and carried them out to paramedics. Two other residents escaped on their own. In total, three people were transported to local hospitals — one in critical condition and two with non-life-threatening injuries…
