FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – After some steady rain on Sunday morning, showers are mostly done through Sunday evening, but, more off-and-on showers are likely throughout the week.
Overnight into Monday morning, some rain showers are possible as temperatures drop down into the mid 60s. Once you head to work and kids are off to school, rain is expected to be a bit more widespread. Scattered rain showers and a few thunderstorms are possible on Monday afternoon, too. However, there will be periods of the day where it is dry. Afternoon temperatures on Monday will only be in the mid 70s.
Then, the rain chance lowers for Tuesday before what’s called a closed low moves into our region on Wednesday, and just sort of lingers around through the rest of the week. This closed low will bring us some scattered rain showers on Wednesday, with the chance for rain lingering into Friday. However, these three days won’t be washouts. So, expect dry times, too…
