September 20, 2025 — Old Town Clovis was alive with patriotic pride on Friday, September 19, 2025, as the community gathered for the annual Military Appreciation Night. Hosted by the Clovis Veterans Memorial District in collaboration with Old Town businesses, the event drew thousands to celebrate and recognize the service of local military members and veterans.
The evening, which coincided with the popular farmers’ market, featured a festive atmosphere complete with a patriotic concert and a wide array of informational booths. “The turnout has been wonderful,” said Amy Cross, Director of Operations for the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. “There’s been a continuous flow of the community coming out… to celebrate our military and learn more about our veterans organizations and local military that’s right here.”
Organizers estimated the attendance in the thousands, a strong showing that underscores the deep-rooted support for the armed forces in the Clovis community.
