Court decision clears the path for Fayetteville supermarket chain: The state Court of Appeals denied a resident’s final appeal against plans for a Hannaford supermarket at 547 E. Genesee St. Marguerite Ross had claimed the 56,000-square-foot store violated zoning rules. “This is good news for us, and means the project can continue forward,” said Mayor Mike Small.
