AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department confirmed a baby was found in a dumpster at an apartment complex in North Austin on Saturday.
According to APD Watch Command, the baby was found in a dumpster in the 8600 block of North Lamar Blvd. APD says they first received the report at around 1:35 p.m.
The baby is alive, safe and appears to be healthy with no signs of distress on its body, according to APD. However, it was still taken to Dell Children’s Hospital as a precaution…
