HOUSTON — A special day for some Houston teens took off Saturday as United Airlines opened the doors to its massive hangar at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
It was all part of Girls in Aviation Day, a worldwide effort to get more young women excited about careers in the skies.
More than 50 students from Houston ISD and Sterling Aviation High School got a hands-on look at what it takes to keep planes flying.
