Texas City Man Arrested for Methamphetamine Delivery After Multi-Agency Drug Bust

Texas City, TX – A multi-agency drug operation in Texas City on Thursday resulted in the arrest of a man and the discovery of methamphetamine in a home with an infant present, authorities said.

Drug Bust Details

The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force (OCTF), assisted by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 5400 block of Phillips Street.

Upon entering the home, detectives found five males, three females, and an infant. A search uncovered approximately 22 grams of methamphetamine along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Child Protective Services was immediately notified due to the presence of the infant.

Arrest and Charges

As a result of the operation, Patrick Buska, 48, was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 >4G<200G. His bond was set at $150,000.

Officials emphasized that the investigation highlights the dangers of illegal drug activity in homes with children and the importance of multi-agency coordination in addressing these threats.

The OCTF is a partnership between the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson Police Department, League City Police Department, and La Marque Police Department.
