New Orleans Police are searching for two suspects involved in a recent auto burglary that occurred in the Marigny neighborhood. The incident took place on the morning of Sunday when a vehicle in the 2100 block of Decatur Street was broken into, according to the NOPD. Officials have released surveillance images of the two men they believe are responsible for the crime and are appealing to the public for any information leading to their identification and arrest.
The NOPD states that the first suspect broke into the parked vehicle around 8:25 a.m. while the second individual appeared to serve as a lookout. A variety of personal items were reported to have been stolen during this burglary. The duo then reportedly fled in the direction of Esplanade Avenue and currently remain at large.
