SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Springfield City Council is expected to choose a contractor Monday night to tear down and rebuild the Scenic Avenue Bridge over Wilson’s Creek north of Sunshine Street.
Project manager for Springfield, Leree Reese, said the bridge is on the city’s radar for repairs.
“This one did come up as needing to be replaced. It’s not an immediate safety issue; otherwise, we would’ve closed it immediately. It does need to be replaced, so we’re replacing that, and then it’ll be good for a while,” Reese said…
