Cyclists raise $4k for Kansas refugees in 24-hour ride

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A team of cyclists raised over $4,000 to help refugees in Kansas.

A four-person team from Bike Walk Wichita participated in Ride for Refugees, an annual 24-hour event where teams bike from the Colorado state line to Missouri.

β€œIt’s wonderful to be able to make a difference and getting to pedal and do something that is just an enjoyable activity while also raising money; it really adds a sense of value,” Holly Terrill, the executive director of Bike Walk Wichita, said.
