PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Partly cloudy skies will continue this evening with a slight chance of some sprinkles or a thunderstorm in the Valley. Most of the showers and thunderstorms will be in southwestern Arizona, southern Arizona, and in some of the higher terrain north of Phoenix.
There is a slight chance of a shower or storm overnight into early Monday morning, but most of Monday looks dry and a bit cooler with a high of 99. As a cutoff low moves back to the west, a ridge will start building which will warm temperatures up to 103 on Tuesday and around 105 on Wednesday.
The above-mentioned cutoff low will move back towards our area towards the end of the week. This will bring in a slight chance of rain Thursday or Friday. It will also cool things off with mid to upper 90s possible by Friday through next weekend…
