A Lauderhill man was arrested after deputies say he repeatedly harassed and stalked a Wawa cashier both at her workplace and her home.
According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office probable cause affidavit, Ishmel Oneil Brown, 26, began approaching the victim at the Wawa convenience store on North University Drive in Lauderhill, where she worked. Over the course of June and July, she told deputies, Brown frequently lingered inside the store, attempted to initiate conversations, stared at her, and repeatedly made sexual comments.
When the victim complained to her manager, Brown allegedly confronted her, saying he did not believe she felt uncomfortable. Shortly after the victim reported that he left her a handwritten love note at her Tamarac apartment door on August 15, signed “your future husband.”…
