PALMETTO, Fla. (WFLA) — The Palmetto Police Department said a man has been charged with murder after shooting his girlfriend in the head on Sunday night.
At around 11:30 p.m., Blanca Guzman Bartolon, 30, was at her home with her boyfriend, 25-year-old Cilas Roblero Morales, who began to act aggressively toward her while armed with a gun.

The victim called two friends to come and get her from the home, and they drove to Palmetto to pick her up. Their identities are being withheld in compliance with Marsy’s Law, PPD said.
When they arrived at the home, they met the Guzman Bartolon in the driveway of the 12th Avenue West home. The victim and the two witnesses were immediately confronted by Roblero Morales, who started firing at them. He struck Guzman Bartolon in the head, and the witnesses ran away from him.
