CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – NASA announced Monday, September 22, that Charlottesville-native Ben Bailey is one of 10 astronaut candidates.
Born and raised in Charlottesville, Bailey attended the University of Virginia and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
