MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — The City of Mobile will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Oct. 11, giving Mobilians an easy way to discard things that can’t be collected by regular sanitation services.
The free event is being organized by the City of Mobile Environmental Engineering Department and will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the James Seals Community Center.
Since 2022, the city has hosted Household Hazardous Waste Collection events to give Mobile residents a convenient way to safely and responsibly discard items the city is unable to collect during routine trash and garbage service.
