Three people suffer severe burns in Grand Prairie home explosion, officials say

Three people were injured and taken to the hospital after a home explosion in Grand Prairie Saturday, according to the Grand Prairie Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to an explosion about 11:30 a.m., at a home on N. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. According to KDFW-TV, preliminary evidence leads fire investigators to believe it was caused by a gas leak.

The fire department told KDFW-TV that three people were taken to the Parkland Hospital in Dallas with burn injuries…
