Kansas teen enters plea for acid attack on another girl

SEDGWICK COUNTY — A Kansas teen charged for her role in an acid attack on another teen was back in court Friday.

Tayronnia West, who was 18 at the time of the crime, pled guilty to Reckless Aggravated Battery, severity level 5, person felony, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office. She is scheduled for sentencing on November 5.

In June Judge Tyler Rousch sentenced West’s accomplice Ye’Kira Acoya Hollins, who was 18, at the time of the crime, to 34 months in prison and 24 months of post-release supervision, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office…
