Madison, WI – A suspect in a violent assault near Camp Randall Stadium was taken into custody Saturday afternoon, according to the University of Wisconsin–Madison Police Department (UWPD).
The arrest follows an early-morning incident on September 20, 2025, around 2 a.m., when officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault at 15 Breese Terrace in Madison. Police said the victim sustained critical injuries in what they described as a “violent, unprovoked attack.” The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
