A new headstone now marks the final resting place of Stephen and Harriet Myers at the Albany Rural Cemetery.
The couple operated one of the busiest Underground Railroad safe houses in the nation on Livingston Avenue, which is now home to the Underground Railroad Education Center. The headstone was unveiled during a ceremony in their honor at the cemetery on Saturday.
