Boston Police Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Suspected Thief at Prudential Center Canada Goose Store

The Boston Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in a theft at the Canada Goose store in the Prudential Center and is seeking help from the public. According to a community alert released by the Boston Police Department, a woman is suspected of stealing two parka jackets on the evening of September 7.

Responding to the scene at roughly 7:24 p.m., officers from District D-4 were met with reports that the female suspect, after asking store staff to hold the jackets at the register, took advantage when the staff was distracted and fled toward Boylston Street. The store staff described the shoplifter as wearing Nike “Just Do It” leggings and a cream sweater, with strawberry-colored hair, about 5’7″ tall.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and provide assistance in the ongoing investigation. “Detectives assigned to District D-4 are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident,” the Boston Police Department stated.
