San Jose triple killing: Police say domestic violence incident preceded fatal shootings

The man accused of fatally shooting three people in San Jose last week was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident with one of the victims the day before the shooting, detectives said.

In an incident report released Friday, detectives said Joseph Charles Vicencio, 27, was the suspect in a domestic violence incident reported the day before the shooting and at the same home where the shooting occurred. The domestic violence victim, identified as Tarrah Lyn Taylor in the report, told officers that Vicencio punched her in the torso and strangled her last Monday. Taylor and Vicencio had apparently dated, the report said.

The following day, officers found Taylor “bleeding profusely” from multiple gunshot wounds outside of a home on the 200 block of Chynoweth Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. She also had marks on her throat, detectives said…
