Messiah University community mourns senior killed in train accident: ‘Friend to all’

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Messiah University’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is mourning one of its seniors who died in a train accident on campus.

Brendan Heisey, 22, was struck by a train while walking on the tracks near the university’s south gate on Friday, according to the county coroner’s office. He was pronounced dead on scene.
